Greetings from Fort Myers, FL!  We wanted to update you on our family move to Fort Myers.  I left Tucson on May 21 and drove across the country for four days, arriving in Fort Myers on Monday, May 24.  My first two weeks here were spent at a retreat preparing summer missionary interns and new NMSI missionaries for deployment.  We sent out teams to Bulgaria, Honduras, Kenya and Malawi for the summer.  New missionaries going long term to Malawi and Haiti also received training.

Anne and Matthew left Tucson on June 3 and arrived in Fort Myers late on June 5.  Since they arrived here we have been setting up our office at NMSI's headquarters and looking for a place to live.  Looking for a home seemed like a long process. The first home we made an offer on fell through when the owner decided they did not want to sell at all.  Matthew has been volunteering helping with landscaping and cleaning the NMSI grounds.

Finally, yesterday (the same day the sale of our house in Tucson closed) our offer was accepted on a house here (in Cape Coral).  We are temporarily living with the Barrerra's, a couple who also work with NMSI here.  It will be another month before we can move into our new home.  Until then, our belongings are in storage and we are living out of our suitcases.  We are already missing Tucson.

We are looking forward to being able to minister more effectively from Fort Myers.  We are already getting a lot more face to face time with missionaries and missionaries who are here preparing to go to the field.

We greatly appreciate your prayers!  Continue to pray we will adjust quickly to living in Florida and ministering from a new place.

James and Michael stayed in Tucson to go to school and work.
