Nettie Mortimer

Mrs. Nettie J. Bryner, was born in Parker, Armstrong County, PA, June 15th 1871, and departed this life at Shippenville, April 20, 1920.  On the 17th of February 1897, she was united in marriage to Ezra W. Bryner and since then has lived in Shippenville. For about a year she has not been in good health but her fatal illness was only of twenty-five hours duration.  When about sixteen years of age she united with the Cherry Run United Presbyterian Church and was a consistent member thereof to the time of her death.  To mourn her loss she leaves a husband, her parents, two brothers and Lucy, a daughter two years of age.  A child was born the day of her mother's death, but survived her only a little while and was buried with her in the Shippenville Union Cementery on the following Sabbath afternoon.   The funeral services, which were largely attended, were held in the Lutheran Church, conducted by the pastor thereof, Rev. A.J.B. Kast.
