Johann George Breiner

Johann George Breiner (1712 – about 1790) – Immigrant.  Later generations changed the spelling of the name to “Bryner”.  He came to the Colony of Pennsylvania from Germany on the ship “Adventure” arriving September 24, 1732 at the Port of Philadelphia[1].  The ship’s captain recorded his name ‘Georg Briner’.   Ship records do not seem to indicate that he came with any other family members.  Married to Elizabeth, they had nine children.  He died in Lynn Twp., Northampton County, PA.
